* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Cletus Wenning
Cletus H. Wenning, 87, Coldwater, died March 12, 2015, at his home.
He was born June 1, 1927, in Coldwater, to the late Leo H. & Rose (Kahlig) Wenning. On Feb. 23, 1949, he married Rosemary (Heitkamp), who died Jan. 12, 2007.
Surviving are eight children, Larry and Cindy Wenning, St. Henry, Dale and Janice Wenning, Coldwater, Betty and Les Kremer, St. Sebastian, David and Janet Wenning, St. Henry, Dennis and Phyllis Wenning, Coldwater, Deb and Tim Knapke, St. Henry, Diane and Jeff Osterholt, Monticello, Ind., and Joyce Johnsman, St. Marys; 34 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and siblings, Raymond and Mary Wenning, Coldwater, Alvera Bruns, Winter Haven, Fla., and Lillian Fullenkamp, Coldwater.
Deceased are a great-granddaughter, Cara Siefring; siblings, Dorothy and Albert Knapke, and Irene and Ed Bender; in-laws, Wilfred Bruns, Wilfred Fullenkamp, Regina and Ferd Hein, August and Irma Heitkamp, Ida and Clarence Clune, Edwin and Henrietta Heitkamp, Amelia and Cornelius Goecke, Leonard and Edna Heitkamp, Herbert Heitkamp, Clarence and Lorena Heitkamp, Oscar and Josephine Heitkamp and Arthur and Adella Heitkamp.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Cletus was a lifelong farmer. He also worked at the former New Idea plant, Coldwater, at Crown Equipment, New Bremen, drove a bus for Coldwater schools and ran Grandpa's Rabbit Ranch for the enjoyment of all of his grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
