Minnie Jones, 86, Greenville, passed away at 2:50 a.m. March 12, 2015, at Wayne HealthCare, Greenville.

Minnie was born May 19, 1928, in Barbourville, Ky., to the late Lee and America (Swafford) Riley. On Jan. 29, 1948, she married Russell Jones, who died Sept. 15, 1996.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline and Bud Tackett, Greenville, Carol and Jim Piper, Celina, and Ruth Lines, Greenville; grandchildren, Russell and Jenny Tackett, Ludlow Falls, Jennifer and Aron McClain, Georgetown, Ky., Stephanie and Dan Clausing, St. Marys, Bart and Whitney Piper, Celina, Sheryl Roadcap, Piqua, and Donald and Angie Roadcap, Troy; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Homer and Ruby Riley, Dayton; special friend, Martha Barnes, Greenville; friends Pastor Tom and Deb Hamblin, Sidney; and numerous other family members.

Also deceased are a great-grandson, Damian Bumgarner; brothers, John C. Riley, Hobert Riley and Elmer Riley; and sisters, Chelsia Mitchell and Martha Darnell.

Minnie was a homemaker. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Darke County.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.

The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
