* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Velma Magoteaux
Velma M. Magoteaux, 95, Osgood, died Nov. 13, 2014, at the Grove City home of her daughter Mary.
She was born March 30, 1919, in Sharpsburg, to John and Mary (Bergman) Schlarman. She was married July 15, 1942, to Ralph E. Magoteaux, who preceded her in death Aug. 9, 1986.
Surviving are daughters, Marcia (David) Muhlenkamp, Fort Recovery, Janice (James) Browning, Troy, Mary (Michael) Hall, Grove City, Karen Bishop, Chandler, Ariz., son-in-law, Paul (Carol) Fleck, Chickasaw; 20 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, sisters Clara (Omer) Brandewie, Osgood, Imelda Stucke, Osgood, Lois Wenning, Osgood, and sister-in-law, Betty Schlarman, North Star.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Fleck; siblings, Herb (Jane) Schlarman, Hugo (Liz) Schlarman, Rosella (Wilfred) Tanner, Lucille (Bill) Ketring; son-in-law, Edward Bishop; and brothers-in-law Roman Stucke and Clete Wenning.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, and the St. Barbara Ladies Sodality. She loved playing cards, bingo, puzzles, cross-stitching and camping.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.
Calling hours are 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Memorials may be given to the Osgood Rescue Squad.
