* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Paul Freytag
Paul E. Freytag, 90, Elmwood Assisted Living, New Bremen, formerly of Minster, died at 9:20 p.m. Sept. 25, 2014, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born on March 9, 1924, in Ft. Loramie, to Edward and Ethel Speckman Freytag. On Nov. 25, 1948, in Wapakoneta, he married Irene Doorley, who survives at Elmwood.
Also surviving are four children, Mark (Jill) Freytag, Centerville, David Eric (Susan) Freytag, Westerville, Elaine (Donald) Eichenauer, Coldwater, and Jill (Jake) Boerger, Coppell, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim Freytag, Sidney; a sister-in-law, Betty Freytag, Sidney; and a brother-in-law, Eldon Montague, St. Marys.
Deceased are a brother, Ed Freytag; a sister, Mary Montague; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Freytag.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Minster VFW, American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles #1391. He was a former Ft. Loramie school board member for eight years, a former Fort Loramie village councilman and a Shelby County Republican committeeman. He was a retired brick layer and co-owner of Freytag Brothers Masonry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers during WWII.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial with full military honors by the Minster Firing Squad will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Memorials may be made to the Elmwood Activity Fund and Minster Firing Squad.
