* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Irene Spreng
Irene Mary Margaret Meyer Spreng, 90, formerly of Fort Loramie, passed away of natural causes Aug. 18, 2014, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster, where she had been a resident for five years.
She was born Sept. 17, 1923, in Fort Loramie, to Frank and Agnes Ashman Meyer. On June 26, 1965, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, she married Thomas Darel Spreng, who died in 1986.
Surviving are two daughters, Rita Osborne (Nora Cline) Bristow, Va., and Barb (Tim) Siegel, Fort Loramie; two grandchildren, Casey Siegel, Fort Loramie, and Abby (Nathan) Bauer, Fargo, N.D.; two siblings, Leo Meyer, New Bremen, and Dorothy Meyer, Sidney; sisters- and brother-in-law, Thelma Meyer, St. Marys, and Robert (Joann) Spreng, Dayton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are four siblings, Bernadetta, Hugo, and infant twins, Herman and Hildegarde Meyer.
A graduate of Fort Loramie High School, she went on to graduate from the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in 1944. She had also been a clinical instructor of obstectrics at the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. In 1954, she received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Dayton.
She served as a U.S. Army Nurse/2nd Lt. for one year near the end of WWII. She received an American Theatre Ribbon and a WWII Victory Medal. She was retired from the Heritage Manor Nursing Center where she had been employed more than 30 years.
She attended St. Michael Catholic Catholic Church and had been active in St. Ann's Ladies Sodality. She was a past member of the Fort Loramie American Legion Auxiliary Post 355. She enjoyed gardening and an occasional meal out with her family.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be made to the Fort Loramie Fire Department or rescue squad.
