Paulette Hemmelgarn
Paulette D. "Babe" Hemmelgarn, 65, formerly of Minster, died at 2:20 p.m. on Aug. 18, 2014, at Elmwood of New Bremen.
She was born Sept. 4, 1948, in Minster to Bernard and Alvina Overman Hemmelgarn.
Surviving are four siblings, Carol (Jim) Opperman, New Bremen, Marlene (Larry) Prenger, Minster, Ronald (Diane) Hemmelgarn, Villa Ridge, Mo., and Dennis "Duff" Hemmelgarn, Minster, and 61 nieces and nephews.
Deceased is her twin sister, Mary.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. She also was a member of Minster F.O.E. 1391 Auxiliary. She attended Minster schools and was a Minster Wildcat Fan. She enjoyed needlework and playing cards. She worked at F.J. Stallo Library, Minster, for many years.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
