Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

Dolores VanDeMark
Dolores VanDeMark, 88, New Bremen, died at 2:40 p.m. June 24, 2014, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster.
She was born March 3, 1926, in St. Rose, to Clemence and Cecilia Heyne Kunk. On Oct. 7, 1950, she married Jacob Newton VanDeMark in Osgood, and he died April 6, 2005.
Surviving are four children, Carol (John) Turner, New Bremen, John (Donna) VanDeMark, New Albany, Ind., Connie (John) Thomas, Reynoldsburg, and Joyce (Tony) Lambert, Sidney; eight grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Leo (Pauline) Kunk, Tucson, Ariz.; and a sister, Luella Klenke, New Bremen.
Also deceased are five siblings, Ray Kunk, Rich Kunk, Ed Kunk, Katharine Prenger and Mary Ann Oehrtman.
She was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen, where she served in many different ministries. She was an active member of the New Bremen Senior Citizens, where she served as president and held numerous other offices.
She filled her days walking, playing cards and participating in various senior citizen activities. She treasured the time she spent with her family and friends, especially traveling to the family cottage at Indian Lake. She retired in 1988 from Crown Equipment Corporation, New Bremen.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church, at which time the rosary will be prayed.
Memorials may be made to the New Bremen Senior Citizens or the Holy Redeemer Church Memorial Fund.
