Betty Link
Betty A. Link, 81, of Fort Recovery, died June 16, 2014, at Elmwood Assisting Living of New Bremen.
She was born Nov. 21, 1932, in Darke County, to John and Erta Keefauver White. On Feb. 7, 1959, she married Gustave Link in Greenville, and he died May 9, 2013.
Surviving are two daughters, Robin Link, Coldwater, and Marna (Jeff) Arling, Minster; a son, Scott (Lori) Link, Fort Recovery; a sister-in-law, Anne Link, Sidney; six grandchildren, Jacqueline, Jessica, Barbara, Gustave, Alicia and Genoa; and a great-grandchild, Hannah.
Three half brothers and four half sisters are deceased.
She was a 1950 graduate of Greenville High School and a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery. She enjoyed caring for and spending time with her family as well as working on the computer.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Paul Wohlwend officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
