* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Elmer Fink

Elmer B. Fink, 92, Celina, died at 7:35 p.m. May 24, 2014, at The Miller House in Celina.

He was born April 28, 1922, in Coldwater, to William and Gertrude Schneider Fink.

On May 3, 1947, he married Dorothy M. Boehmer Fink, who preceded him in death Oct. 29, 2010.

Surviving are a son, David (Linda) Fink, Celina; a daughter, Susan (Charles) Bergman, Winter Garden, Fla.; a son-in-law, James Deffenbaugh, Newport News, Va.; a sister, Lois (Willard) Magoto, Versailles; a sister-in-law, Ruth Fink, St. Marys; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a son, Steven Fink; a daughter, Elaine Deffenbaugh; four brothers, Clarence (Alvera) Fink, Gerald (Leota) Fink, Donald Fink and Arnold (Irene) Fink; three sisters, Mildred (Walter) Stachler, Bertha Fink and Velma (Walt) Bruggeman; and two grandchildren.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was in the Normandy Invasion and European and Pacific Conflict. He retired as a shipping clerk at the former New Idea, where he had been employed 43 years. He was a 1940 graduate of Coldwater High School; a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina; and a life member of the Celina VFW and the Coldwater American Legion and member of the Coldwater Eagles and Immaculate Conception Men's Sodality. He volunteered at IC bingo and Mercer County Council on Aging garage sales. He loved playing cards, dancing and traveling.

Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church in Celina, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Calling is 3-7 p.m. Wednesday and 10-10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
