Martha Jane Kirchenbauer
Martha Jane Kirchenbauer, 87, Celina, died at 7:14 p.m. May 4, 2014, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born July 22, 1926, in Decatur, Ind., to Raymond and Evangeline Eyanson. On Nov. 29, 1947, she married Bill D. Kirchenbauer, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Darlene (Don) Mottinger, Ohio City; a brother, Raymond (Bunsun) Eyanson, Ohio City; three grandchildren, Dewayne (Amanda) Mottinger and Dana Mottinger, both of Ohio City, and Denice (Jon) Ringler, Paulding; three great-grandchildren, Mallory and Mryssa Mottinger and Austen Joseph; a sister-in-law, Roberta; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Bob, Theodore, Bernie and Freddy Eyanson, and a sister, Mary Castle.
She was a homemaker and life member and past president of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 5803, Van Wert. She also was a charter member of Rockford Eagles.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Randy Bevington officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the Mercer County Council on Aging, Celina.
