* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Alvina Lochtefeld
Alvina L. Lochtefeld, 89, formerly of St. Rose, died at 3:45 p.m. March 26 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster.
She was born Jan. 20, 1925, in Maria Stein, to Joseph and Ida Kuess Heitkamp. On Aug. 3, 1949, she married Clarence J. Lochtefeld at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, and he preceded her in death May 2, 2003.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth Lochtefeld, Belle Center; a daughter, Mary (Theodore) Tumbusch, Minster; six grandchildren, Nicole, Kelly, Ryan, Travis, Danielle and Brandon; seven great-grandchildren, Caleb, Brianne, Luke, Skylar, Cameron, Braxton and Braleigh; and a brother, Henry Heitkamp, Minster.
Also deceased is a sister, Hilda Kremer.
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, the Ladies Sodality of the Church and the Knights of St. John Ladies Auxiliary, Maria Stein.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Rose Catholic Church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery.
Calling is 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and Wilson Hospice.
