CELINA - Local organizations want residents of Mercelina Mobile Court to know they are not alone or forgotten and help may be on the way.
Last week, owners of the 53 trailers in the mobile home park were given a notice of eviction by Celina attorney Louis J. Schiavone, who represents the mobile home park company and two of its trustees, Jerry and Verdice Brandts. Residents have until August to leave, the letter states. [More]

ROCKFORD - Officials are looking into implementing an emergency alert system that sends residents text messages about community announcements.
Village council member Wilbur Fox on Tuesday said he spoke with Parkway school officials about using the district's alert system for community notifications. He said the school will send him more information about joining its system. [More]

FORT RECOVERY - Despite a 15-point lead at halftime, Fort Recovery boys basketball coach Brian Patch felt that his Indians needed a spark.
