* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

S. Margaret Koons
S. Margaret Koons, 92, St. Marys, died at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 28, 2013, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born June 3, 1921, to Joe and Agnes (Lawler) Gearing. She married George Koons on Aug. 10, 1946, and he survives at Otterbein St. Marys.
Also surviving are four children, Michael (Mary Jo) Koons, Vandalia, William (Nancy) Koons, Chagrin Falls, Jeanetta (Mark) Muhlenkamp, Englewood, and Barb (Ken) Niekamp, Centerville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Florence Jones, St. Marys.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Scott, and a brother, Don Gearing.
She was a 1939 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and retired from Holy Rosary School, where she worked in the cafeteria. She was very committed to her church, Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, and made it the center of her life. She enjoyed golfing and spending her winters in Florida. She liked to sew and cook and made fabulous noodles. She dearly loved her family and their yearly family vacations.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, St. Marys.
