* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Marjorie Giere
Marjorie E. Giere, 56, Fort Recovery, died at 12 a.m. Oct. 24, 2013, at her residence following a 15-month illness.
She was born Aug. 13, 1957, in Coldwater to Paul and Virginia Boecker Rosenbeck, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 3, 1976, she married Joseph Giere, who survives.
Other survivors are four sons, James (Jamie) Giere, Maria Stein, Douglas Giere, Chickasaw, Gregory Giere, Findlay, and Jacob Giere, Maria Stein; a grandson, Victor Giere; siblings, Dick (Nancy) Rosenbeck, Weatherford, Texas; Jan (Jon) Ranly, Cassella; Chris (Tony) Prenger, Maria Stein; Ang Heuker, Chickasaw; Joyce (Mark) Fritz, Coldwater; Barb (Wayne) Hein, Chickasaw; Dan (Beth) Rosenbeck, Chickasaw; Ron (Diane) Rosenbeck, Trinity, Ind., and Steve (Mary Beth) Rosenbeck, Chickasaw; in-laws, Edmund and Jeanette Giere, Maria Stein, and their family, (Vic) Giere, Celina; Ed (Deb) Giere, Montezuma; Tom (Angie) Giere, Dayton; Gary (Connie) Giere, Yorkshire; and Jenny (Steve) Wuebker, Maria Stein.
Deceased are brothers-in-law, Jack Heuker and Larry Giere, and a sister-in-law, Sheryl Giere.
A 1975 graduate of Marion Local High School, she was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, and its Ladies Sodality. She was a baby sitter for 25 years and a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother; her family meant everything to her.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John Church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Maria Stein.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mercer County Cancer Association.
