* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jerome Moeller
Jerome "Jerry" D. Moeller, 87, Fort Loramie, passed away of natural causes at 4:40 p.m. Sept. 21, 2013, at his residence.
He was born July 21, 1926, in St. Wendelin, to Daniel and Henrietta Stammen Moeller. On June 25, 1947, at St. Bernard Church in Burkettsville, he married Armella "Mick" Rindler, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Shirly Ann (James) Suchland, New Bremen, Dennis Moeller, Sidney, Wayne Moeller, Fort Loramie, and Dale (Dee) Moeller, Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren, Dan (Kristel) and Bartt (Michelle) Suchland and Adam and Josh Moeller; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Will, Grace and Dryden Suchland; six siblings, Andrew Moeller, Burkettsville, Thomas (Mary) Moeller, Minster, Mary Lou Eilerman, North Star, Joan Eilerman, North Star, James (Esther) Moeller, Springfield, and Susan (LeRoy) Unrast, Willcox, Ark.; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille (Albert) Hoelscher, Fort Loramie, and Melvin (Luella) Rindler, Montezuma.
He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Moeller; a brother, Algar (Velma) Moeller; and sisters- and brothers-in-law, Viola Moeller, Bernard and Alfred Eilerman, Cletus (Delores) Rindler and Arthur (Alvina) Rindler.
He was a 1944 graduate of St. Henry High School. A World War II U.S. Navy veteran, Jerry served as Seaman 1st Class SV6 U.S. Navy Reserve. He retired from Wayne Trail Technologies, Fort Loramie, in 1993. Previously he had worked for G & G Tool in Sidney. He was a member of Only Believe Ministries in Botkins and the New Bremen American Legion Post #241. He enjoyed social visiting and had never known a stranger. He also enjoyed walking the dog, hunting and fishing. He had a hobby of building fish scalers; some are even used across the world.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie, the Rev. Ed Ingrahm presiding. Interment will follow at German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen, with full military honors by the American Legion Firing Squad.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Gehret Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to Only Believe Ministries Missions or a charity of the donor's choice.
