Barbara J. Heath, 80, Van Wert, formerly of Rockford, passed away at 2:31 p.m. May 11, 2013, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born July 17, 1932, in Franklin, Ky. to Sterling and Bonnie Finn Goodrum, who both are deceased.

Survivors include her three sons, Steven H. Barker of Traverse City, Mich., Jon Kevin (Patty) Barker of Wren, and Nick C. Heath of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a daughter, Tracy D. (Jeff) Vaughan of Traverse City, Mich.; and 10 grandchildren, Chad and Brooke Barker, Ryan Barker, Leslie and Chris Baltzell, Lindsay and Jason Baxter, Cameron Heath, Hannah Heath, Harlan and Jodi Cornell, John Cornell, Tammy Tellez, Angel and Michael Watson; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Keith Eblen of Rockford; and her aunt, Eva Finn; and nine cousins, all of Franklin, Ky.

She also was preceded in death by her stepfather, Albert Mock; a brother, Gary G. Hull; and her sister, Betty Eblen.

Barbara graduated from Crestline High School in 1950. She was formerly employed at the Celina Music Store and retired from the Powell Insurance Agency in Flint, Mich. She loved bird watching and nature. She also enjoyed her gardening and ceramics.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.     

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
