Eileen Stienecker
Eileen M. Stienecker, 88, St. Marys, died at 9:30 p.m. March 23, 2013, at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home, Wapakoneta.
She was born Oct. 10, 1924, in St. Marys, to Guy and Genevieve Meyers Hussey. On Dec. 29, 1945, she married Merlin H. Stienecker, who died July 5, 1996.
Surviving are her son, Stanley Stienecker of St. Marys; a daughter, Kathleen (Larry) Rhodes of Celina; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph Hussey of St. Marys and Harold (Betty) Hussey of St. Marys; and a sister, Marilyn (Bernard) Schroer of St. Marys.
Also deceased are a great-grandson, Blake Jeffries, and a daughter-in-law, Carol Stienecker.
She was a homemaker and worked as a sales representative for Avon Corp. and Stanley Home Products.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and its Women's Guild, American Legion Post #323 auxiliary, Eagles Lodge Aerie #767 auxiliary and Fort Barbee Chapter of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, all in St. Marys.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
