* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Virginia Hoelscher
Virginia Ann Hoelscher, 89, New Knoxville, died at 1:40 p.m. Dec. 26, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 21, 1923, in Wapakoneta to John and Rose Burk Pitthan. On April 13, 1946, she married Myron Hoelscher, who died Nov. 12, 2003.
Surviving are two children, Doug (Linda) Hoelscher, New Knoxville, and Deborah (Ron) Wood, Sheridan, Wy.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are three sisters, Florence Winemiller, Jeannette Fast and Dorothy Steele.
A 1940 graduate of Blume High School in Wapakoneta, she formerly worked at Westinghouse Corporation in Lima and was a homemaker. She also assisted in the operation of the family farm and was a member of First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.
Calling is 3-6 p.m. Sunday in the Heritage Room of the church.
Memorial gifts may be made to the radio broadcast fund of the church.
