* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ralph Shiverdecker
Ralph J. "Rally" Shiverdecker, 89, Versailles, died at 5:42 p.m. Sept. 24, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born March 2, 1923, in York Township near Brock to Sherman and Pearl Supinger Shiverdecker.
Surviving are two sisters, Betty Hole, Versailles, and Helen Everhart, Greenville.
Deceased are a brother, Donald "Joe" Shiverdecker; two sisters and their husbands, Ruth and Ray Gibbons and Naomi and George Frye; and two brothers-in-law, Harvey Hole Jr. and Rol Everhart.
He worked as a farmer, owning the same farm for 86 years. He also was the store manager of Male Fashions, Celina. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Theater, earning a Bronze Star. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Versailles and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Greenville.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, the Rev. Peter Menke officiating. Burial with military honors by Versailles Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Brock Cemetery, Brock.
Calling is noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Wayne Industries or the Versailles Veteran Honor Guard.
