* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Carl Cook
Carl E. Cook, 83, Celina, died Sept. 5, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 7, 1928, in Rockford, to Grant and Lena Snyder Cook. On Nov. 14, 1953, he married Dorothy Gelhaus, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Bill (Jill) Cook, Celina; four daughters, Beth (Steve) Smalley, Celina, Sally (Jeff) Beam, Tipp City, Carey (Rob) Luebke, Celina, and Katey (Steve) Eichler, Celina; four brothers, Bob (Cinda) Cook, Celina, Don (Sharon) Cook, Columbus, Clark (Mary Alice) Cook, Sidney, and Ben (Kathy) Cook, Napoleon; four sisters, Katie Crider, Bowling Green, Sally Conley (John) Wannemacher, Troy, Becky (Dan) Dumbauld, Zionsville, Ind., and Liz Frushour, Bowling Green; a sister-in-law, Betty Cook, Celina; a brother-in-law, Paul (Monica) Gelhaus, Dayton; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are a son, James F. Cook; two brothers, Grant and Mike Cook, a baby sister, Rosalyn; and three brothers-in-law, Bob Crider, Jack Conley, and Fr. Louis Gelhaus.
He graduated from Celina High School and served the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He is retired from the city of Celina and had been superintendent of the sewage treatment plant. He was a board member and volunteer at the Mercer County Council on Aging and volunteered with the Red Cross. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #5713, Knights of Columbus Council #1800, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Companions of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.
Funeral Mass is 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at W.H. Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
Memorials may be given to the St. Peter Neurological Center, Burkettsville, and the Immaculate Conception School, Celina.
