* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Galen Gamble
Galen E. Gamble, 92, Van Wert, died at 10:05 p.m. Aug. 7, 2012, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home, Van Wert.
He was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Van Wert to Eugene S. and Lela Morris Gamble. He had been married to Virginia Taylor, who died in 1979, and then married Pauline Keysor Kundert, who survives in Van Wert.
Also surviving are two children, Gayetta (James) Hogan, Celina, and Barbara Anderson, Clemmons, N.C.; two stepchildren, Kenneth A. (Connie) Kundert, Wetzel, and Shirley (Dick) Bolton, Elgin; four grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. One brother, Richard Gamble, is deceased.
He was a lifetime farmer in York Township, Van Wert County, and retired in 1983 from Continental Can Co., Van Wert, after 18 years of service. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Van Wert.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Will Haggis officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
