* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Vernon Luginbill
Vernon W. Luginbill, 80, Decatur, Ind., died June 28, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital, Decatur.
He was born Oct. 30, 1931, in Mercer County to Roy and Goldie Bollenbacher Luginbill. On Dec. 12, 1954, he was married Martha Jane Bollenbacher, who died Sept. 12, 2004.
He is survived by a son, Neal W. (Judi) Luginbill, Marysville; a daughter, Susan Lynne Rayer, New Whiteland, Ind.; a brother, R. Dean Luginbill, Rockford; two sisters, Norma Jean (Charles) Fuson, Celina, and Mary Luginbill, Chattanooga; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother and a sister.
He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and American Legion Post 43. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he retired in 1996 from North Adams Community Schools.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur, the Rev. Clifford Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's U.C.C. Cemetery, Rockford, with military graveside rites by American Legion Post 43 Color Guard.
Calling is noon-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
