* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Elmer Schneider
Elmer M. Schneider, 93, Portland, Ind., died Nov. 20, 2011, in Swiss Village, Berne.
He was born Feb. 23, 1918, in Freyburg, to John and Josephine Speidel Schneider. In 1983, he married Sally Holthouse McIntosh, who survives.
Also surviving are a son Phillip Schneider, Portland; a daughter, Mary Jo Pearson, Celina; two stepsons, Mike McIntosh, New Castle, Ind., and Steve McIntosh, Portland; three stepdaughters, Cindy Cook, Richmond, Ind., Marcia McIntosh, Richmond, and Mary Beery, Decatur, Ind.; six grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He retired from New Idea, Coldwater. He owned Schneider and Son Antiques and restored furniture.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Portland.
Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Robert Moran presiding. Burial will follow in Green Park Cemetery, Portland.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. today at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland.
Memorials may be made to Swiss Village Endowment Fund.
