* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Harold Suchland
Harold L. Suchland, 90, New Bremen, died at 1:35 p.m. Sept. 18, 2011, at St. Marys Living Center.
He was born June 11, 1921, in St. Marys, to Rueben and Maude Dowden Suchland. On Oct. 18, 1942, he married Helen E. Menchhofer, who died on Dec. 28, 2008.
Survivors are four sons, Harold E. (Barbara) Suchland, Jim (Shirley) Suchland, and Mike (Janet) Suchland, all of New Bremen, and Tom (Carol) Suchland, North Pole, Alaska; 20 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Earl Sr., Kenneth, and Karl Suchland; a sister, Dorothy Suchland; and two half-sisters, Margaret Spaulding and Leona Hegaman.
He was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys, where he served on the church council for many years and had served as president for four years.
He served with the U. S. Army during World War II in the European and Pacific Theaters. He was a lifetime member of the New Bremen American Post 241.
He and his wife owned and operated Suchland's Flowers and Greenhouse in New Bremen. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber, St. Marys.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. William Maki officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, with full military honors conducted by American Legion Post 241.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and one hour before services Friday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the church memorial fund, American Legion Post 241 or New Bremen Emergency Squad.
