Snow showers will continue this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust from 20 to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of one-half inch to 2 inches. Visibility will be restricted at times in the heavier showers.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Earl Knutzen Jr.
Earl L. Knutzen Jr., 56, St. Marys, died at 6:40 p.m. Sept. 14, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born July 30, 1956, in Lima, to Earl L. and Dolores "Dody" Smith Knutzen. On Oct. 31, 1997, he married Rebecca Hawkey, who survives.
Also surviving are children, Jacklyn Knutzen and Matthew Knutzen, both of Wapakoneta; stepdaughters, Elizabeth Sawmiller, St. Marys, and Kimberly (Luke) Schimpf, Lima; a brother, Kelly (Collette) Knutzen, Uniopolis; four brothers-in-law, Daniel (Dee) Hawkey and Ron (Anita) Hawkey, Scott (Dot) Hawkey and David (Ann) Hawkey, all of St. Marys; and two sisters-in-law, Diana (Michael) Alge, Silver Lake, Mich., and Sharon Young, St. Marys.
Deceased is stepson, Brian Sawmiller.
He was a 1974 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. He had worked at Plastipak Corp, Jackson Center. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps and served 20 years in the Ohio National Guard. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 767, St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Drummond officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home on High Street.
