* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Joseph Meyer
Former Minster resident Joseph E. Meyer, 72, died May 29, 2011 at Colonial Nursing Home, Rockford.
He was born Nov. 12, 1938, in Minster, to Joseph and Henrietta Alternatt Meyer.
Surviving are siblings, Vernon Meyer, Fort Loramie, Cleona Wyen, Minster, Lawrence (Helen) Meyer, McCartyville, Viola (Maurice) Bornhorst, Minster; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Peoppelman, Egypt.
Deceased are two sisters, Wilma Ernst and Irene Schmiesing; two brothers, Kenneth Meyer and John Meyer; and four infant siblings.
A member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, he retired from LeRoi Corporation, Sidney.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Revs. Rick Nieberding and Larry Wyen officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-9:30 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
