* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jerome Meyer
Jerome J. Meyer, 72, Sidney, died at 1:05 p.m. May 26, 2011, at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering.
He was born April 18, 1939, in Willowdell, to Frank and Frances (Homan) Meyer. On May 30, 1963, he married Connie Rethman, who survives.
Also surviving are six children, Steve (Margie) Meyer, Fort Loramie, Tom (Mindy) Meyer, Carroll, Sandy (Paul) Brennan, Chicago, Patti and (Bob) Durbin, Brookston, Ind., Becky (Ron) Hoffman, West Chester, and Barb (Joe) Gillming, Cincinnati; three brothers, Al Meyer, Russia, Carl (Linda) Meyer, Versailles, Paul (May Jean) Meyer, Versailles; a sister, Alfreda (Eugene) Guggenbiller, St. Henry; a sister-in-law, Alma Meyer, Ft. Loramie; and 19 grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Irene Meyer, and two brothers, Louis and Herman Meyer.
He graduated from Russia High School in 1957 and Miami-Jacobs Junior College in Dayton. He was a partner and a CPA with Monnier and Company Accounting, Sidney, for 25 years and owned and operated Yeasel, Inc. in Lewistown. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. today at the church with the Rev. Dan Schmitmeyer officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney.
