James Emans
James E. Emans, 62, Celina, died at 10:44 p.m. May 4, 2011, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born Jan. 11, 1949, in Celina to Ellsworth and Doris Winter Emans. His mother is deceased; his father survives in Celina. On Sept. 11, 1969, he married Eva Cardosa, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Timothy (Amanda) Emans, Botkins, and Nicholas (Laura) Emans, Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Amanda Emans, Celina; two sisters, Kathleen (Jerry) Bruggeman, Celina, and Mary (William) Wehrman, Sidney; a brother in-law, Jim (Sharon) Fischer, Celina; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also deceased is a sister, Carolyn Fischer.
He worked at the former Mersman Tables in Celina for 15 years and at Thunderbird Products in Decatur, Ind., for 20 years. He was a member of Celina First Church of God.
Private funeral service were held May 6, 2011, at W.H. Dick & Sons Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Strine officiating. Burial was at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
