* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Sylvan Siegrist
Sylvan Peter Paul Siegrist, 89, Cassella, died at 7:35 p.m. Jan. 28, 2011, at the Gardens at St. Henry.
He was born Oct. 14, 1921, in Cassella to John and Philomena Braun Siegrist. On Jan. 13, 1948, he married, Alfrieda Evers, who died Sept. 23, 2008.
Surviving are five children, Elaine (Ed) Limbert, Botkins, Janet (Tim) Beckman, Minster, Ronald (Diane) Siegrist, Cassella, Sandra (Tom) Wellman, Maria Stein, and Sylvia (Larry) Henry, Versailles; two sisters, Verena Mahle, Celina, and Rita Evers, Greenville; five sisters-in-law, Martha Siegrist, Beavercreek, Bertha Siegrist, Celina, Ann Evers, St. Henry, Esther Wuebker, Fort Recovery, and Irene Evers, St. Henry; three brothers-in-law, Greg (Marian) Evers, St. Henry, Ed (Rita) Evers, Burkettsville, and Clem Evers, St. Henry; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are three brothers, the Rev. Urban Siegrist, Clete Siegrist and John Siegrist; two sisters, Katherine Backs and Sister Helen Siegrist; six brothers-in-law, Herb Evers, Harold Evers, Florence Evers, Dick Evers, Pete Evers and Henry Evers.
He was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cassella. He was a member of the men's sodality of the church, the Catholic Knights of Cassella and Maria Stein American Legion Post 571. He was a retired farmer.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial with military rites is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
