* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Esther English
Esther E. English, 88, Celina, died at 2:30 a.m. Jan. 26, 2011, at the Gardens at Celina Assisted Living Center.
She was born July 20, 1922, in Jackson Center to Mike and Selma Weaver Helmlinger. On June 16, 1946, she married, James B. English, who died Nov. 10, 1989.
Surviving are three children, James (Wanda) English, St. George, Utah, Judith (George) Kelly, Albany, and Betty (Tom) Leininger, Celina; two brothers, Russell (Katie) Helmlinger and Richard (Alma Mae) Helmlinger, both of Jackson Center; a granddaughter; four stepgrandchildren; a great-grandson and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
Also deceased are two sisters.
She and her husband operated English Photography Studios in Sidney. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sidney.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday at Cromes Funeral Home in Sidney, the Rev. George Gnade officiating. Burial is at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.
Calling is 12:30-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church or Grand Lake Hospice.
