* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Kenneth Cordonnier
Kenneth K. Cordonnier, 73, New Knoxville, died 8 p.m. Dec. 22, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born Feb. 27, 1937, in Shelby County to August and Freda Barhorst Cordonnier. On May 4, 1991, he married Connie Elshoff, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Kimberly (Bill) Stump, Houston, Douglas Cordonnier, Naples, Fla., David (Hollie) Cordonnier, Fort Loramie, and Daniel Cordonnier, Fort Loramie; four stepchildren, Tami (Stan) Sanford, St. Marys, Teri (Joe) Lesher, New Bremen, Craig (Renee) Lauth, St. Marys, and Brent (Charla) Lauth, New Knoxville; six siblings, Paul (Rosie) Cordonnier, Russia, Jim (Doris) Cordonnier, Minster, Rachelle Cordonnier, Kettering, August (Barb) Cordonnier Jr., Russia, Carol (Amos) Johns, Piqua, and Bill (Sue) Cordonnier, Carmichael, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Leonard (Vera) Elshoff, Spencerville; two sisters-in-law, Janet (Alfred) Manbeck, New Bremen, and Sandy Curts, New Knoxville; six grandchildren, 11 stepgrandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Marie Schwartz, and a brother, Tom Cordonnier.
He was a 1955 graduate of Russia High School and graduated from the University of Dayton. He worked as an engineer at Leland Electrosystems and Piqua Engineering. He also bartended weekend's at Al's Place in Fort Loramie, where he was known as Sunshine. He also worked at the Village Market and Deli in New Knoxville. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Newport and attended First Church of Christ in New Knoxville. He helped establish and coach Newport Little League in the late 1960s and early 70s. He was a member of the Minster Eagles and Celina Moose.
Funeral rites are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, the Revs. David Williams and Anthony Cutcher co-celebrating. Burial is at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Heritage Room of the church.
Memorials may be made to the Auglaize County Cancer Association, the New Knoxville Fire Department First Responder Team or the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital Foundation.
