Rose Ontrop
Rose Ann Ontrop, 93, St. Henry, died at 2:30 a.m. Dec. 6, 2010, at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima.
She was born Aug. 30, 1917, in Carthagena to Bernard and Margaret Keller Homan. On July 14, 1945, she married Urban Ontrop, who died in 1962.
Surviving are four children, Marvin Ontrop, St. Henry, Bill (Phylis) Ontrop, Center Valley, Pa., Jean (Tom) Roan, Westerville, and Tom (Andrea) Ontrop, Coldwater; a son-in-law, Carl (Irene) Woeste, Coldwater; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a daughter, Joan Woeste; a great-grandchild; and eight siblings, Marcella Smith, Mary Borgert, Alvina Uhlenhake, Ann Siegrist, Lillian Fleck, Ferd Homan, Ray Homan and Bernard Homan.
She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and its Ladies Rosary Altar Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Benedict Magabe officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
