* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Robert Arend Sr.
Robert E. Arend Sr., 82, Mark Center, died Dec. 5, 2010, at Defiance In-Patient Hospice Center.
He was born April 6, 1928, to John and Marjorie Greek Arend. On June 20, 1953, he married Martha J. Clouse, who survives.
Surviving are 10 children, Robert (Sue) Arend, Mark Center, Janice (Tim) Dickerson, Celina, Lisa (Dan) Blosser, Bryan, Marcia Mitchell, Bryan, Geraldine (Gregory) Gause, Mark Center, Michelle (Gordon) Penny, Daniel (Jennifer) Arend, Ohio City, Aimee (Jeffery) Taylor, West Unity, Jennifer (Jay) Brown, Defiance, and Howard (Katie) Arend, Sherwood; 32 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He served during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Sherwood American Legion. He worked at Greif Corporation in Van Wert. He was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hicksville and a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cecil. He was a pilot and member of the International Flying Farmers and International Cessna 195 Association and a charter member of the former Defiance County Flying Club.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hicksville, the Rev. Jim Holerin officiating. Burial is at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Cecil.
Calling is 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Smith and Brown Funeral Home in Hicksville.
Memorials may be made to Inspired Ink in Sherwood, or masses in memory of the deceased, the American Cancer Society or the Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice.
