* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

Charles Weitzel

Charles I. "CW" Weitzel, 54, Fort Recovery, died Nov. 28, 2010, in Fort Recovery of an apparent heart attack.

He was born Aug. 24, 1956, in Coldwater to Cletus and Mary Ann Rammel Weitzel. His mother survives in Fort Recovery; his father is deceased.

Also surviving are four sisters, Alice (Gary) Howard, Fort Loramie, Lucy (Leonard) Bruns, Chickasaw, Ruth (Fred) Jutte, Fort Recovery, and Rita (Dave) Tobe, Fort Recovery; and two brothers, Lavern (Jane) Weitzel, Fort Recovery, and Paul (Cindy) Weitzel, Portland, Ind.

He worked at Fort Recovery Industries in Fort Recovery, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3324 and Sons of the Legion, both of Fort Recovery. He also was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery in Fort Recovery.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery. A prayer service will be given by the Knights of Columbus at 7:50 p.m. today at the funeral home.
