Jamison Godfrey
Jamison D. Godfrey, 34, Neptune, died Nov. 8, 2010, in a fire at his home.
He was born March 18, 1976, in Coldwater, to Rick Niblick and Loretta Godfrey. His father survives in Norwalk and his mother, Loretta (Michael) Knatz, survives in St. Marys. In May 2008, he married Jessica A. Reynolds, who also died in the fire.
Also surviving are two sons, Prestin Godfrey, Neptune, and Lucas Coldiron, Beaverdam; a stepson, Mitchell Dew, St. Marys; a sister, Heather Crouch, St. Marys; a stepfather, Frank (Janice) Smith, Celina; and a grandmother, Nelva Smith, St. Marys.
Also deceased is an infant daughter, Kelsey Marie Godfrey; and grandparents Junie and Zina Godfrey and Arnold Smith.
He was a 1995 graduate of Celina High School. He worked at Evans Roofing Company in Celina and Handy Andy's Construction in Mendon. He was a member of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church in Celina.
Funeral rites are 1 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Revs. Mark Foor and Tony Richmond officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens near Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the family, in care of the funeral home.
