Hazel Longsworth
Hazel Louise "Tootie" Longsworth, 79, Celina, died at 10 a.m. Aug. 16, 2010, at her home.
She was born July 14, 1931, in Columbus to Cloyd and Lona Schaffer Harruff. On Sept. 8, 1952, she married Carl Longsworth, who died April 11, 1988.
Surviving are three sons, Allen (Tawanna) Harruff, Jerry (Emily) Longsworth and Danny Longsworth, all of Celina; two daughters, Susan (Joe) Curry, Chapmanville, W.Va., and Patricia (Harold) Curry, Celina; five brothers, Albert (Sally) Harruff, Spencerville, Richard (Shirley) Harruff, Spencerville, Raymond (Nancy) Harruff, Spencerville, Vernon (Mary) Harruff, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Doug (Diane) Harruff, Delphos; three sisters, Pat (Gary) Gallimore, St. Marys, Bev (Bob) Shaner, Wapakoneta, and Carole Mays, Spencerville; 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
Deceased is a daughter, Linda Longsworth; two brothers, Robert Harruff and Paul Gene Harruff; and a grandchild.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Celina Baptist Temple.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Clifford Rice officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
