* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Robert Heitz
Robert A. "Bob" Heitz, 84, Wapakoneta, died at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 2, 2010, at his home.
He was born May 16, 1926, in Fort Jennings to Otto and Rose Stauterman Heitz. On June 29, 1949, he married Dorothy Kaverman, who survives.
Also surviving are 10 children, John (Rosa) Heitz, Mato Grosso, Brazil, David (Debra) Heitz, Jean (Stephen) Hull, Gregory Heitz, Marilyn (Robert) Schmerge, Steven Heitz, Judy (Craig) Opperman and Nicholas (Lisa) Heitz, all of Wapakoneta, Nancy (Phillip) Scott, Harrisburg, Pa., and Christine (Orlando) Antolin, Westerville; four sisters, Catherine Heitz, Mary (Virgil) German, Joan (George) Ross and Betty Grace; a brother, the Rev. Louis Heitz; 29 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is an infant son; two brothers, Frank and Ralph Heitz; and a brother-in-law, Oris Grace.
He was a farmer and owner of the former Heitz Electric & Plumbing and Heitz Dairy Supply for over 50 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Revs. Louis Heitz and Matthew Lee co-officiating. Burial with military rites by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289 is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at Schlosser Funeral Home in Wapakoneta.
