* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Betty Elson
Betty E. Elson, 77, Fort Recovery, died Aug. 3, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born March 31, 1933, in Darke County to Earl H. and Verna Duvall Arnett. On Aug. 14, 1971, she married Erie C. Elson, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Tom (Clara) Linn, Wapakoneta, David Linn, Fort Recovery, and Dennis (Patti) Linn, Portland, Ind.; five daughters, Karen (Dick) Bonvillian, Fort Recovery, Diana Linn, Fort Recovery, Kim Delgado, Kimmell, Ind., Darlene (Pablo) Castaneda, Goshen, Ind., and Tama (Dan) Brunswick, Fort Recovery; two stepdaughters, Debbie (Art) Francis, Frenchtown, and Judy (Darrell) Coby, Greenville; a stepson, Rick Elson, Greenville; a sister, Thama (Terry) Smith, Fort Recovery; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Hubert "Butch" Arnett; a sister, Nilah Helton; a great-grandson; and a stepmother, Ruth Arnett.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fort Recovery.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Revs. Dennis Kelley and Verl Ballmer officiating. Burial is at Teegarden Cemetery in Union City.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
