* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Richard Poling

Richard (Dick) Poling, 80, Coldwater, died July 29, 2010, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

He was born Nov. 26, 1929, in North Star, to Donald and Freida (Halley) Poling.

On June 18, 1955, he married Bernice Fortkamp, who survives in Coldwater.

Also surviving are six children, Steve (Teresa) Poling, St. Henry; Karen (Ken) Davis, Dublin; Kevin (Theresa) Poling, Keller, Texas; Rebecca (Frank) Arling, Osgood; Mary Beth (Steve) Rosenbeck, Chickasaw, and Melissa (Mike) Stucke, Tipp City; 19 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Donna Jean (Bob) Thomas, Greenville; and a brother, Walter (Sharon) Poling, Van Wert.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Kenneth Michael.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Coldwater American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Coldwater Eagles, former member of the Burkettsville Fire Department and former member of the St. Bernard Parish Council. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was retired from Werling Motors in Coldwater and the Arens Corporation in Covington.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
