* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thomas Gaier
Thomas F. Gaier, 76, Fort Loramie, died July 5, 2010, at his lake cottage in Coldwater, Mich.
He was born Dec. 5, 1933, in Fort Loramie, to August and Esther Larger Gaier. On June 30, 1954, he married Norma Rose Drees, who died Nov. 4, 2005.
Surviving are three children, Donald (Julie) Gaier, Coldwater, Mich., Linda (Eugene) Barhorst, Minster, and Tina Gaier, Fort Loramie; seven siblings, Ralph Gaier, Theodore (Joanne) Gaier, August Jr. (Carol) Gaier, Richard (Sue) Gaier and Rosemary (Jim) Brussell, all of Fort Loramie, and Kathleen (Joseph) Brinkman and LeRoy (Lucy) Gaier, all of Minster; two sisters-in-law, Dolores Gaier, Fort Loramie, and Kathy Gaier, Sidney; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, John "Jack" Gaier, William Gaier and Carl Gaier; and a sister-in-law, Martha Gaier.
He was a founding member of the Fort Loramie Racing Club and Redskin Motor Sports. He was a 1951 graduate of Fort Loramie High School. He worked for Gaier's Service in Fort Loramie before retiring in 1986, and was co-owner since 1960. He also worked part time for Fort Loramie Engine Rebuilders, repairing and building race engines for racers in the area. He attended St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.
