* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold wind chill will occur late tonight into Sunday morning.

Dallas Homan

Dallas H. Homan, 80, formerly of Wabash Road, Coldwater, died at 3:47 p.m. May 29, 2010, at The Gardens at Celina.

He was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Coldwater, to Theodore "Ted" and Catherine Knoth Homan.

Surviving are a daughter, Christina Silvers, Knoxville, Tenn.; a brother, Donald (Rosamary) Homan, Fort Recovery; a sister, Jeannette Osterholt, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and a sister-in-law, Rosalie Homan, Coldwater.

Deceased is a grandchild; a brother, Harold Homan; and a brother-in-law, Herman Osterholt.

He retired from Pax in Coldwater, and as a farmer. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery.
