Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

Marlene Borchers
Marlene E. Simon Borchers, 87, Althoff Road, Versailles, died March 5, 2010, at the Versailles Health Care Center.
She was born Dec. 14, 1922, in Willowdell to Peter and Rosa Moorman Simon. On April 14, 1945, she married Orville Borchers, who survives.
Also surviving are seven sons, Orville Borchers Jr., Joseph (Joan) Borchers, Mark (Therese) Borchers, Christopher (Kimberly) Borchers and Steven (Lillian) Borchers, all of Versailles, Alan (Robin) Borchers, Jackson Center, and Frank (Barbara) Borchers, New Bremen; six daughters, Janet (Ronald) Nufrio, Sidney, Julia Weaver, Centerville, Rebecca (Leslie) Nason, Waterford, Wis., Mary (Mark) Heft and Kathleen (Randy) Schmitz, all of Versailles, and Teresa (Charles) Kohlhepp, Xenia; a sister, Harriet (Richard) Frantz, Sidney; 44 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Amelia Francis and Evelyn Littman, and a son-in-law, Steven Weaver.
She attended Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Newport, where she volunteered as an organist until she retired in 1990 and was a member of the church's St. Ann's Ladies Sodality and Knights of St. John Ladies Auxiliary. She also was a member of the Catholic Cursillo movement through the Piqua Ultreya in the 1990s. She graduated from Versailles High School in 1940 and Miami-Jacobs College in Dayton in 1942. She worked at Willowdell Sales Co. and First National Bank, Versailles, before she married.
Funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery after services.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
