Norbert Stueve
Norbert J. Stueve, 87, 154 S. Ohio St., Minster, died 9:50 a.m. Feb. 24, 2010, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster
He was born Oct. 22, 1922, in Minster, to Henry and Katherine (Bensman) Stueve. On June 7, 1950, he married Dorothy Albers, who died April 22, 1998.
Surviving are five sons, Ralph (Jean) Stueve, Elmer (Diane) Stueve, Roger (Barbara) Stueve, Marvin (Julie) Stueve and Greg (Denise) Stueve, all of Minster; five daughters, Rita (Albert) Watters, Sidney; Theresa (Dan) Reichart, Indian Lake; Carolyn (Kelcey) Coffman, Lucy (Andy) Sherman, Pensacola, Fla.; and Joan (Jim) Hageman, Botkins; a brother, Norman (Irene) Stueve, Minster; a companion, Margaret Hoelscher, Ft. Loramie; 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He retired from Minster Machine after 42 years of service. He was a member of St. Augustine Church, the K of C, the FOE 1391, the 2nd Year Club at Minster Machine, United Steel Workers Local 3210, and the Athletic Boosters, all of Minster.
Funeral mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Calling hours are 2 -8 p.m.Friday and 9-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Memorial donations can be made to the State of the Heart Hospice.
