* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Paul Buening
Paul H. Buening, 77, 5130 Philothea Road., St. Henry, died Jan. 22, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Sept. 11, 1932, in Coldwater, to Bernard J. and Julianna Bruggeman Buening. On Aug. 31, 1957, he married Juanita Muhlenkamp, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Larry Buening, St. Henry; three daughters, Susan (Michael) Ripploh, Minster, Janice (Jeff) Muhlenkamp, Geneva, Ind., and Jean (Bernard) Hummel, Kalamazoo, Mich.; three brothers, Ernest (Dorothy) Buening and Urban (Rita) Buening, all of Coldwater, and Roman (Norma) Buening, Maria Stein; two sisters, Mary (Robert) DeMange, Ansonia, and Marita (Tony) Grilliot, Celina; four sisters-in-law, Betty Jane Buening and Lou Ann Knoth, both of Coldwater, Elaine (Tom) Carlisle, Dayton, and Kathy (Tom) Coon, Little Rock, Ark.; six brothers-in-law, Alvin (Dolores) Muhlenkamp, Portland, Ind., Elmer Kuess, Celina, Ernest (Janet) Muhlenkamp, Portland, Ivan (Sue) Muhlenkamp, St. Joseph, Mich., Lavaughn (Doris) Muhlenkamp, Portland, and Ben Muhlenkamp, Baldwin, Mo.; and eight grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Dale Buening; a daughter, Mary Buening; four brothers, Louis, Clarence, Albert and Greg (Helen) Buening; a sister-in-law, Irma Kuess; a brother-in-law, Cletus Knoth; and a grandchild.
He had worked at Matt Schwieterman Inc. and at the former New Idea plant, both of Coldwater. He was a self-employed truck driver and part owner of Larry's Mowing Service. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Men's Holy Name Society, the Eagles and American Legion Post 470, all of Coldwater. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater, with military rites by the Coldwater American Legion.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
