* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Steven Vornholt
Steven Duncan Vornholt, 67, of Harris, Mo. and formerly of St. Marys, died on Aug. 5, 2009, at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born April 26, 1942 in Celina to Myron and Marguerite Duncan Vornholt.
On April 29th, 1961, he married Karen Esther Vogel, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters, Debra (Don) Klein, New Bremen and Darlene (Chris) Bowers, Ada; a son, Greg (Deana) Vornholt, Chillicothe, Mo.; a sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Gary Hegemier; and five grandchildren.
He was a tool & die maker and machinist and craftsman and had been employed by JB Tool, the Ford Motor Company, and was the owner of St. Marys Tool & Machine Co. In Missouri, he was employed by Modine Manufacturing Company, Coon Mfg. Co., was owner/operator of Vornholt Enterprises in Harris, Mo., and was engaged in farming. He attended Allied Institute of Technology in Chicago, Ill., after graduation from St. Marys Memorial High School in 1960.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Aug. 10, 2009, at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Maki, officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
