Lucille Loughridge
Lucille C. Loughridge, 82, of 1909 Knapke Court, Celina, died at 2:25 a.m. July 22, 2009, at the Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 29, 1927, in Carthagena to Bernard N. and Clara Wendel Meier. On Oct. 17, 1945, she married Lowell Loughridge, who survives.
Other survivors are four daughters, Sharon (Edward) Elliott, Englewood, Dianne (Gary) Rolfes and Sondra (Larry) Roth, all of Celina; and Teresa (Gary) Prill, Van Wert; two brothers, Ernest (Patricia) Meier, Seattle, Wash., and Charles (Mary) Meier, Celina; three sisters, Mary Evelyn (Norbert) Kohnen, Montezuma, Roseann Puthoff, Minster, and Janet (Ronald) Stachler, Celina, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was employed by Celina Schools and worked in the high school cafeteria for 13 years. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic church, Celina, and a former member of the Daughters of Isabella and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She volunteered at the church"s school cafeteria for 13 years and volunteered at the Mercer County Blood Bank.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Revs. Richard Riedel and Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
