Dorthey Gerboth
Dorthey Lee Gerboth, 77, died July 9, 2009, at Westside Retirement Village, Indianapolis, Ind.
She was born Aug. 22, 1931, in Thomastown, Miss., to Hermann and Letha Jenkins. On Aug. 22, 1950, she married Stanley C. Gerboth, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Bruce and Cindy, both of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mark, Avon, Ind.; a brother, Walter Jenkins; two sisters, Geraldine Greer and Patricia Price; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Doyle Jenkins.
She went to college in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and had been employed as a teacher. She and her husband had pastored at the Celina Church of the Nazarene from 1982 to 1992. She most recently was an active member of the Westside Church of the Nazarene of Indianapolis.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Westside Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be at West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
Calling will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Conkle Funeral Home in Avon and 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church.
