* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Mildred Browder
Mildred S. Browder, 99, formerly of 2 Melrose Place, New Bremen, died at 8:30 a.m. May 30, 2009, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born July 26, 1909, in Arcanum to George Theodore and Ethel Banta Riegle. On Oct. 28, 1930, she married Thomas Worch Browder who died on Oct. 20, 1990.
Surviving are a daughter, Sue (Jerry) Maxson, New Bremen; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Browder, West Columbia, S.C.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, John Browder; a brother, Theodore Riegle; and a sister, Frances Reitz.
She was a 1927 graduate of Arcanum High School and a 1931 graduate of the Miami University of Ohio with a Smith Hughes degree in Home Economics. She taught school in Troy and Arcanum, and later at Sterling High School and Jones High School in Houston, Texas. She was also co-owner and manager of "The Little Dress Shop" (Mids) in Arcanum. She and her husband moved to New Bremen in 1975 and became members of the St. Paul United Church of Christ. She was a member of the Joint Township Hospital Guild, the Friends of the Library and the New Bremen Historic Association. She was a life member of the Arcanum Order of the Eastern Star.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. William Youngkin officiating. Burial is at the Abbotsville Cemetery, Greenville.
Calling 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund or to the State of the Heart Hospice.
