* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Betty Rutledge
Betty L. Rutledge, 84, of Rockford, died at 7:05 p.m. on May 10, 2009, at her residence. She was born August 24, 1924, in Celina, to Frederick and Sarah Leota Blossom Van Tilburg.
She married Keith "Jake" Rutledge, Sr.,who died in 1997.
Surviving are two sons, Bob (Kathy) Rutledge and Keith Jr. (Anita) Rutledge, all of Rockford; a daughter, Ruth (Mike) Armstrong, Walbridge; 11 grandchildren and 23 great- grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Gary Rutledge, and infant daughter, Carol Ann; four brothers:, Carl, Robert, Donald, and Tom Van Tilburg; and two sisters, Joan Van Tilburg and Margie Emans.
She was a homemaker and retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys. She was a member of New Horizon Community Church, Rockford.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at the church, the Rev. Marvin Schwartz officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford and at the church on Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
