* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

L. Paul Staugler
L. Paul "Big P" Staugler, 55, 202 Washington St., Fort Recovery, died at 1:10 p.m. April 16, 2009, at his residence. Death was due to cancer.
He was born Oct. 23, 1953, in Celina to Lester and Joan McGough Staugler. On June 3, 1978, he married Kathy McCord, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters, Amy (Jason) Bihn, Fort Recovery, and Carrie Staugler, Yokota, AB, Japan; a son, Jeff Staugler, Washington, D.C.; four brothers, Jack (Marcia) Staugler, Bill (Bert) Staugler and Bob (Jodi) Staugler, all of Fort Recovery, and Dave (Susie) Staugler, Celina; a sister, Mindy Staugler, Fort Recovery; a father and mother-in-law, Jim and Patricia McCord, Logansport, Ind.; and two grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Linda Staugler.
He worked at the Mercer County Elks, was a 1972 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and was a member of the Fort Recovery Lions Club, Fort Recovery Athletic Boosters, Sons of the American Legion and Mercer County Elks. He was the "Voice of the Indians," volunteered with the USO at the Dayton Airport and was a CCD teacher at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, where he was a member.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Brockman- Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
